Verified Great spot Great food and a SUPER server !Verified Our favorite place for lunch in Oia My wife and I were in Santorini, in Oia, for a few days and found Skala to be our favorite place for lunch. The food was outstanding and not very expensive by local standards. The service was wonderful and they treated us like family. It's located on the main sightseeing walkway in Oia and it provides a bit of a refuge from the large crowds that visit during the day. Santorini is a popular cruise ship destination and that can create surges in crowds as the tour groups disembark. Skala's dining area is slightly offset from the main path but you can still see the sea. The menu has a lot of variety and features a combination of local and regional dishes. By chance, we didn't have dinner here so I cannot comment on that but lunch was fantastic!Verified Tomatokeftedes! Stopped by for an appetizer in the afternoon. The tomatokeftedes were amazing! We learned how to make them at a cooking class the day before, but these were so much better. Crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. Our first night in Oia and this place was an absolutely fantastic experience. We spent the day as a family exploring the village and watching a beautiful sunset before heading back to the village to find a nice place for dinner. We checked out a few places before deciding on Skala as it looked wonderfully authentic, the menu looked excellent and the staff could not have been more welcoming to move tables around and find us a nice table for 6 people. Excellent service from Alex and the team throughout and some of the best food we have had. The Lamb Goulbinas and Beef Short Ribs were insane. Would highly recommend on any trip to Oia.
